    description
    Had one for about 2 months. Went to turn on light this morning, and the chain is now broken, and stuck in place. Cheap chinese garbage is an accurate description.

    Incomplete Assembly - Top Board Not Threading
    Cannot complete the assembly as screws could not be threaded through.  Am still waiting for response from seller at this time.  Still have not heard.  Otherwise, will return.  Uses so much time trying to put together to no avail.  Product should go through quality control before getting shipped to ensure it can be assembled.

    Dented light bulb
    The light bulb came dented and I would love if the manufacturer would send me a new one, besides that it’s cute but the directions suck and there was no labeling on the pieces so i’m left guessing which one goes where

    Came with a broken shelf, useless..
    Glass shelves are flimsy and ineffective,glass is supported by small metal tabs and in my pice one of the shelves tab was broken so the glass was falling off, had to remove the glass form the shelve. I would have returned if the packing was still around.

    Missing Screw Hole In Base & LED Bulb
    The base is missing a hole for the screw to attach to the posts. Then the light bulb was missing. I'm going to also have to return it or drill the hole myself. Overall it doesn't seem like a bad item if you're just looking for a basic lamp. The assembly didn't seem to require additional tools.

    Some design change can make it more elegant
    Wire, pull string coming out of lamp base and the wing nut make it look less clean. Reaching the pull string also increase the risk of tipping over the lamp. A more elegant design would be: raise the lamp base on the top shelf so wire can come out of the bottom of lamp shade on one side and use a floor foot switch.

    Easy to assemble
    Looks nice in the room. Not very sturdy but it is a good value for what you pay for it. Very easy to assemble.

    Cheaply made, but it does its job
    Bought this lamp for the guest room, to give them a lamp next to the bed with something resembling a night shelf. It looks super cheaply made and definitely not sturdy, plus the natural wood effect on black doesn’t help with the perception of sturdiness. Relatively easy to assemble, and eventually it is a nice add to the room.

    Hole for light flow.
    Should have holes below the the light fixture for the like to shine down on the items on shelf.

    The shade is more flimsy than I expected.
    Not quite as sturdy as it looked.

    Very pleasantly surprised and pleased with this purchase!
    I'm going to bullet point this review: - Great value for the price - Sturdier than expected; not flimsy or wobbly - Better quality than expected, given the price - No parts missing or damaged, easy to put together with clear instructions - The poles are some sort of metal and not wood or plastic, and are quite sturdy - Looks like it costs more - Shade is a nice off-white color and is easy to assemble (it comes flat) - Adds a nice soft light to the room I'm going to get another one for the bedroom!
